Respect - to show esteem for; honor; show consideration

This is our character trait for the month of September.  We are teaching and practicing ways to show respect to others, ourselves and our belongings.  Parents can help us by reinforcing these skills at home by practicing manners such as please, thank you, excuse me, etc. Also, encourage your child in taking turns and speaking to others using nice tones. These are only a few examples of how you can practice at home.  Be sure when you see your child show respect that you let them know how much you appreciate this and how it helps everyone.
