I have made many changes over the summer to improve the library for our BGA students and I am absolutely thrilled to be starting in on a new year.

Library Moodle:

Volunteering:

Sign-up sheets are located in the front office, in the library and can also be downloaded from the Library Moodle. I would love to have your help! (See attachments below)

Summer Reading:

I hope everyone was successful with their summer reading! The 2^nd, 3^rd and 4^th graders that completed reading logs can turn those into their homeroom teachers and they will be passed onto me. If you are in need of the reading log it is also located on the Library Moodle. (See the info box below for attachments)

Checkout:

Students will begin checking out on Monday, August 16^th. Kindergarten and 1^st grade students will bring home one book at a time. 2^nd, 3^rd and 4^th graders can bring home two items at a time.

Destiny:

This is our incredible library program that students, teachers and parents can access from school or from home. Some exciting features include searching the entire catalog, holding items, creating a list of items, and researching topics on K-4 appropriate websites.

Accelerated Reader Program:

The 1^st 9 weeks testing window will open on Monday, August 23^rd. This allows every student the opportunity to take the STAR test which gives us their reading level information. More information to come.
