In Chapter 3, Ancient Egypt and Nubia, the students will explore the fascinating civilization of Ancient Egypt.  Pyramids, mummies, pharaohs, and Egyptian afterlife all give some clues as to how the Egyptians viewed their lives along the Nile River.

Once more we will start with a map lesson on the geographic setting of Ancient Egypt.  How did the geographic features affect life in this civilization? 

What historical accomplishments is Ancient Egypt known for? 

We will have a great in class presentation on the process of preparing a mummy for entombment! 

What do the Pyramids at Giza say about life in Ancient Egypt?  Together, we will find out!
